Kate loves the promisingly sweet scent of spray paint as a new production is created…especially on a warm wall in summer.

Having landed in the deep end last year whilst researching for an Anthropology thesis on Melbourne’s graffiti communities, she has since helped out at festivals, created a website for the youthful forces of the Napier Crew and covered her finger tips with spray paint countless times.

A writing geek, lover of people and old-school romantic, Kate loves exploring crumbling abandoned buildings with her camera in tow to record the gifts left by street artists: her urban superheroes.
