About me: Rachee has been brightening streets, alleyways, drains, warehouses, galleries, bars and clubs with her stencils and characters, throughout Melbourne and internationally under numerous aliases, since 2003. Inspired by pop art, street art and all kinds of Japanese kitsch, her art is cute, colourful and just a little provocative. Always a fan of collaborations and group shows, Rachee has been involved in over 25 exhibitions and festivals, and has had the opportunity to travel to many countries – contributing to street collaborations and group exhibitions around the world! This experience now sees her running Melbourne-based art events and workshops including Sketch City Melbourne, a conglomerate from the UK event that sees local and international artists gather to create together on walls, tables, boards and canvases with materials and beats provided!
