lightning strikes the horizon
breeze dances
leaves heavy
mind of mine
wound in twine
sunshine glistening
raindrops sparkling
spirits lifted
were we tonight
tomorrow and today
your future in disarray
can you find a way
complexities enshrined
walk away
into the night
a fresh bloom unfolds
as does the world
each step forward
towards a goal
