It’s not over yet - Melbourne is faced with a possible PERMANENT 3am LOCKOUT.
KPMG has been contracted by the Department of Justice and the Director of Liquor Licensing to evaluate the 2am Lockout. They have supplied a survey for licensees, patrons and the community to give insight into the evaluation.
If you have a spare 5 minutes please fill it out. Brumby will see this, as will all the officials involved in this whole debacle.

Dear Licensees, Members and Associates,
As part of the evaluation of the 2am lockout KPMG would like to conduct an online survey of licensee’s along with patron’s and the community to gain further information on their perspectives and have asked that we provide the following information. These survey’s are on top of the group consultations also being undertaken with licensee’s and for the evaluation.
Follows is an overview of the surveys, which include the purpose, an overview of the sections, and importantly the web link for access to the survey.
The survey itself should only take about 5-10 minutes to fill out.
As part of the distribution of the patron survey KPMG would like to invite venues to post a flyer up in their venue (i.e. doorway, noticeboard or at the bar) advertising the survey. Therefore, Venues are invited to post this information up in a prominent position. Other distribution methods include advertising in local newspapers.
