In the quaint city of Lyon, France you’d probably be excused for staring confusedly at the some of the regional traffic signs. You’d also be wondering what the hell kind of traffic laws these crazy locals are living by. Then you’d realise that the red and white signs are actually part of a city wide initiative to put the world’s street art back on the streets.

Panos 2013 is ‘a collaborative project that takes the work of artists from around the world, in the form of fake road signs, and turns the streets of Lyon, France into an enormous gallery without walls. This project has a delightful sense of humour, lots playful absurdity and a wonderful scale.’

Check out the rest of the exhibition and heaps of other stuff at Bopano.com.
