You never really grow too old for cuddly teddybears, do ya!?

I haven’t had one since I was 9 and my brother brutally pulled off my teddy-penguin’s fluffy arms and ripped out the stuffing while dancing around in my room with the scariest laugh blasting out of his mouth. Pingu (that was its name) meant the world to me and after his death I simply couldn’t see myself with another teddy. A one true love and a forever broken heart.

But now, 14 years after my loss, I have decided to get into the game once again! Life is too short for just one true love. Therefore I’m going to Gorker Gallery’s opening of Ghostpatrol’s and Cat-rabbit’s collaborative exhibition While you Sleep.

Combining their incredible skills of drawing and sewing, they together created a bunch of soft sculptures based on Ghostpatrol’s illustrations. Everything is beautifully handmade.

So what better time could I find to move on! This awesome exhibition will definitely open up my mind for a future teddybear relationship… Can’t wait to go, not bringing my brother though!
