So what in the world inspires a hairy, sweaty, B.O. smelling punk kid to put on a blonde wig and rabbit mask and sing into a carrot looking microphone? I’m guessing it’s people along the lines of The Cramps, The Ramones, The Electric Eels and GG Allin. Which is perfectly OK with me.

For a while now there’s been too many bands trying to recreate that punk rock vibe achieving nothing but a walk of shame down ‘I SUCK’ street. I know there are some musicians out there that can pull it off so it’s about time people stopped worshipping the Chuck Berry chord stealing generation and gave them a bit of their own back.

Love Visions by NOBUNNY is one of those contenders. After listening to the first song off of this album I found myself in my undies, jumping on my bed playing air guitar (just another day at home really). With so many good tunes one after the other, this album is kind of like listening to a Ramones greatest hits album through a wind up AM radio while singing about ‘the bird’ being the word and girls named Tina going to work, but I digress. Love Visions has so many good hooks and licks that it’d even get those sour-faced kids that hang at the back of the show to push their way up to the front, kick up their heels and break out into a dance along the lines of a hula combined with the hokey pokey.

Check out your local record store and grab yourself a copy, otherwise get on the blower to 1234-go! records and order some in. You wont regret it.
