I have a little fetish for bikes, yes a sexual one. I’m one of those guys who spots one from a street away and runs up to it like a little school girl, clapping my hands and doing what looks like a ritual African dance around it. Ok, not always just when I see something really special like this, I do get a little excited, I touch myself.

Fixed gears seem to be all the rage at the moment with hipsters all over the world. It’s become cool to ride bikes again and I for one welcome our hipster, fluoro coloured, one gear, no brake, scary as hell bikes to ride. I wouldn’t ride one myself, basically because, well, I’m too much of a pussy to ride a bike with no brakes, I’m really not that good at riding bikes. I’d give myself to the end of the street before I’d just panic, give up, close my eyes and ride straight into traffic like a kamikaze.

Anyway, enough about me and my bike antics. Check out this new cruiser by James Perse, very nice indeed, with its vintage 50’s styling mixed with Arnold Schwartznegger harley attitude this thing is a classic, moreover, it’s different and that’s the best part.
