If you’re anything like me then you’re definitely broke and illegally residing in Berlin. Therefore, you need something else to do besides recycling bottles to flog off on lucky strikes and Sternbergs (50 cents, can I get a holla?)

The Pictoplasma Walk is a free event where you become your own tour guide and art buff. From the 17th of March until the 22nd you can venture throughout Berlin and visit over 30 galleries and exhibition spaces.

Some of the artists that may cause you to pee your pants:
Flying Förtress / The London Police (DE/UK)
W+K TOKYO LAB (JP)
Stefano Pedrini (IT)
Group Exhibition (ARG)
and many many… sooo many more

The walk will introduce the Pictoplasma conference/event and will showcase some of the best character designers and animators from all over the world. If you’re a budding animator or moving image designer check out the submissions section at the Pictoplasma website to make a submission of your own.

But the number 1 reason you should take the walk is because you can legally drink on the streets in Berlin. Therefore, a walk is more like a moving pub, but you’re alone. This isn’t for long though as there’s an after walking party where some of the artists are rumoured to show face.  So if you’re a drunk picture lover here is your chance to say something you will definitely regret.

I’m out of here… time to recycle my way to glory.
