Melbourne based artist Sekure D welcomes us to his first solo exhibition, Daylight Hallucinations. Very cool customised kicks is what Sekure D has to offer and that just makes me go oh oh oh ooooohh!

Exhibited all over the world, Sekure D is becoming a well known and much respected name especially among fellow Melburnians and other kicks lovin’ kids around the globe. His style is always fresh and clean and his choice of colours are perfectly thought out creating a simple, colourful but super unique shoe.

Daylight Hallucinations is opening up at Hogan Gallery in April and not only will there be smashing funky kicks, there’ll also be a large range of Sekure D’s canvas pieces from 2007 to 2009 on exhibit. It’s going to be one hell of a cool show and I’ll definitely be there. Not only because I’m ridiculously addicted to kicks but also because Sekure D is such a breath of fresh air when other Melbourne artists and exhibitions are all about screen printing at the moment.
