Lis Silk aka Elizabeth Erasmus gives us a peak into the wonderful world of public transport. With her upcoming exhibition 13 World Train Systems, Lis Silk exhibits train photography from 13 cities worldwide.

‘The Electric Train system is an essential part of modern day public transport. From NYC to Hong Kong, Barcelona to Melbourne trains provide us with a daily opportunity to commute, observe others from a distance, or get from point A to B. And for some people, a train is also a blank canvas awaiting a myriad of possibilities.’

Who: Lis Silk

When: March 26 – April 9. Opening night March 26, 6:30pm – 9:30pm

Where: Aperture Studios, 21 Lincoln Street, Richmond (tram route 7, stop 64)
