SC-APRIL'09

Once again it’s time to hit it to 25 Eastment Street! Sketch City is bringing us a new round of graff-tastic skills and art workshopping!

Get ready for a sunday in the breeze of aerosol mists and breaktunes waves. Sketch City is bringing it back to basics by dedicating this month’s event to the infamous colours Black and White.

Melbourne artists Deam, Maxcat and The Moth will all be painting in greyscales on the walls and even on a pretty white van.

If you can’t find the visually creative spirit in you, special music performers Yoin Huz Ami of Coalition Crew and Kel On Earth from The Kelly Gang will surely find your hidden funky moves and make you dance the day away.

Also the Masters of All Trades, Afterwhite and Hugo and Yoink! will perform with a guitar, a canvas, a brush and a drum kit… Sounds weird? Yes. It’s an artistic music performance you never thought you’d see, but you definitely have to see it to believe it! So that’s one of the reasons why I’m  going to Sketch City. Black and White movies shown on the projector also sounds gooood for a relaxing sunday afternoon.

Entry $7 -covers all the materials you wish to use on the day.

WHAT: Sketch City – Black ‘n’ White.

WHEN: Sunday April 19th 2009, 4pm-10pm

WHERE: Dazzeland Studios, 25 Eastment St, Northcote
