Per Square Meter are at it again with The Round Up, a group live paint session held over a 24 hour period, in the Per Square Meter gallery and best of all everyone is invited to come along and join in the fun! This rounds theme is The Sea, which as someone who could swim before they could walk had me all excited.

Each artist is required to register and pay a small fee of $20 which helps to cover costs. You will be supplied a 40cm x 50cm double thick canvas to be creative with at the gallery during the allotted time, so don’t forget your art supplies! It’s good to note that you can do some prep work prior to it as well. Afterwards the works created will be displayed in the gallery for a one week exhibition where you can sell or not and the price is to be set by artist with a 20% commission for the gallery.

There are several things I like about this concept; from just being given a time limit, meeting other creatives, working in the same space as others and just injecting a bit of fun into creating a piece!
