Do you ever wish that your burnt bread looked pretty AND it could help others? Well, now you can. Though you won’t physically see it, viewing the online version you’ve created will leave you feelin’ goooood. The Bread Art Project is all for a worthwhile cause…

The Bread Art Project is an arts project created by Grain Goods Foundation in the United States to help increase awareness of the growing hunger problem in their country. This works by you, me, us submitting our art on their website – they have templates for the bread. You can choose from white, wheat, country white, wheat meal. Then upload your own art or make your own using the tools. Opt to add it to the gallery, then drool at the art you’ve just created. Easy as toast.

For every piece of Bread Art you submit, US$1 will be donated to Feeding America. You may ask, ‘So who cares? It’s not my country. We have no hunger problem. I don’t eat bread.’ Well, if you asked me, knowing that I’m able to do some good somewhere in the world is caring enough. Because we make stuff good in any way we can.
