12X12 is an exhibition featuring 12 talented Australian artists who each create 12 artworks on 12×12 inch canvases: equaling a total of 144 canvases for you to drool over.

Since the Sydney show has been and gone, it’s coming to Melbourne and opens on the 3 July at No Vacancy Gallery. 2008 featured the likes of Apeseven, Ghostpatrol, Jeremyville, Junior and a huge favorite of mine SMC[3] and 2009 looks not to disappoint.

This year the chosen 12 are Adrian Knott, Ainslie Fletcher, Bridge, Justin Lee Williams, Kareena Zerefos, Kid Zoom, Luke Taaffe, Max Berry, Meggs, PhibsSimon Degroot, and Twoone.

It’s like you picked up a bag of jelly beans filled with all your favourites! I’m very much looking forward to checking out some new works by Bridge, Kid Zoom, Max Berry, Meggs, Phibs and Twoone.

Opening Night: Friday 3 July, 6pm-9pm

When: Saturday 4 to Sunday 12 July

Damage: Free

Where: No Vacancy Gallery, 34-40 Jane Bell Lane, QV Building, Melbourne

  1. It was a really good exhibition. I was going to take photos but my memory card was misplaced… Oh well! The No Vacancy temporary space was good, a fresh change and we cant wait to see the new space.

I think the team at We are the Images Makers did a really good job bringing some new fresh pieces from artist I hadn’t seen yet. Good job guys!
