Already spent your Rudd bonus? Well listen up creative creatures coz the Box Hill Community Arts Centre has a competition that will send the winner away with $3000 smackaroonies.  The prize also includes two weeks free use of the Community Art Centre Gallery, plus help with the marketing for your exhibition. Second prize ain’t to shabby either, a $500 voucher for art materials…

Entries need to be:

2D work with the maximum dimensions of 60 cm width  x 60 cm height
OR
3D work with the maximum dimensions of 60 cm width  x 60 cm height x 60 cm depth

Other Stuff:

All works submitted for the Art Competition must be original works executed by the artists whose name
appears on the entry form and created since 1 January 2009

There’s a $30  non-refundable handling fee of $30 and you’ll need a  one-page (A4) resume giving up to date biographical and exhibition details

A full image of actual work being submitted for judging   (Please include a self addressed envelope if you would like image returned)

To assist the selection process it is recommended that you submit a statement about your work.

Friday 26 June 2009 by 5pm
