A few things I love about exhibitions is the warmth of a gallery space and when a nice a glass of red goes down and it just feel good to just be out and about. In saying that, some things that aren’t so cool: there maybe more than one on in the same night and to go walking across town in the wet is not fun, you may have a cold (reason why I didn’t make 12×12 last Friday) or there is no undercover area outside for the smokers.

Well the good news is Freshly Baked has all the bases covered with their Winter Set. You can come along for a night of social like behaviour at Marker Gallery on Thursday July 9 where you can mingle and checkout a selection of works, or the other option is to cuddle up at home in front of your computer be as unsociable as you want (good if your’re in quarantine for swine flu) and browse their online gallery where all works are shown and are available for purchase.

What: Freshly Baked Winter Set

Who: Caitlin Rigby, Satta Van Daal, Ape Seven, Mephisto Jones, Aida Sabic, Baden Pailthorpe, Max Berry, Daniel Foothead, Alastair Mooney

Opening Night: Thursday 9 July, 6pm - 9pm (Selected artworks only)
