We’ve been watching Twoone’s progress for a while now. You may know him for his One Thousand Can show in 2008 or you may have seen his designs floating in fashion and collectable art shops around Melbourne. Twoone was born in Yokohama, Japan in 1985 and moved to Melbourne, Australia when he was 18 to pursue his love of graffiti and art.

You can spot Twoone’s work in the crowd as he usually uses earthy colours and paints ghostly animal-like creatures as the main characters in his art. Although he has a common recurring theme in his work it never seems to lose its appeal – his characters are unique and rich in detail and expression. His latest installment of works seem to push the boundaries of his canvas by experimenting with materials, space and the evolution of his style.

Twoone’s new site is worth checking out as well as this video of him in action with busting out some live art.
