In January 2009 Europe’s best indoor graff spot opened up its doors in Odense Harbour, Denmark…

Urban Art Project pretty much looks like heaven. Or at least my kind of heaven. For an ex Melbournite there were no words to describe the joy pumping through my veins when I entered the massive old warehouse (a thought goes out to our beloved Jewel Station warehouse which was brutally taken away from us in 2008).

The UAP warehouse in Denmark is a creative base for local artists who wish to have a legal spot to paint 24/7. It’s a perfect spot for graff. It’s light, the walls are made of cement and the entire area is covered by a roof with giant windows. And if you get tired of painting during the day bring your board and hang out on the indoor skate park located in the middle of the house.

The UAP crew have meetings every Monday where they discuss future plans and festivals. Everybody is welcome! So if you make your way to Denmark some day, feel free to check it out and have a chat to the UAP boys.

Where you’ll find it: Finlandkaj (Odense Harbour), 5000 Odense C, Denmark
