This year’s featured ‘Curvy’ artist Kaitlin Beckett will be hanging a new body of work at Melbourne’s 696 gallery. Displaying works on paper and canvas, her show ‘A compendium of undersea curiosities… and friends‘ will bring a wide array of creatures both mystical and mesmerising to the Brunswick gallery…
Kaitlin has a playful way of using ink splashes and solid blocks of colour combined with a loose yet captivating illustrative drawing style. It all comes together to create an intriguing clan of monsters and creatures waiting to leap off the paper and run riot. Make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to see this exhibition. You’ll regret it if you do.
