lyrics and type

Bo- dado ba-boo, type that into your lyrics!

This yet another fantastical gallery exhibition that Semi-Permanent is adding to their festival collection for this October.

So why should you go to yet another gallery opening? Beacause you will know all the words to all the songs.  The Wooden Toy the caped crusaders have done it again with their new exhibition called Lyric and Type. Inviting 17 international typographers, designers and illustrators to graphically interpret a line of lyrics by famous (both past and present) singers, songwriters or bands through a combination of experimental type and illustration.

I wonder what ‘Enter Sandman” from Metallica would look like. Na that’s too easy, that would be letters forming a dude with long hair playing air guitar.
