Funk in a box is the latest exhibition at the Brood Box gallery, formally known as the McCullock gallery. Under the new management there’s a fresh new look to the space and an exhibition of  Drewfunk’s  work.

It has been said that Drew is working on new pieces for the exhibition and has been concentrating on new, used and found pieces of wood. If you are unfamiliar with  Drew’s work you can expect a controlled use of colours used on smooth curved landscapes. Drew is best known for his Malaysian styled characters that are set in bonsai heavens or found floating on lush lands of forest vegetation.

Who: Drewfunk
What: Funk in a Box Gallery Exhibition
When: 6 November 2009
Where: Brood Box Gallery, 8 Rankins lane Melbourne (off Little Bourke)
