Ukranian born Miso has recreated her home town inside the four spacious walls of Gorker Gallery, Fitzroy. Using mixed mediums the installation has transformed the entire gallery into a compact little town, a realistic everyday scene that in it’s recreation becomes something very beautiful.
This is the largest installation from Miso who is renowned for her street art around the world. On Wednesday 16 December she will be giving an artist’s talk at the gallery where you will also get a chance to have a chat and ask any questions about her work and inspirations.
The night will also include wine tasting from Austin’s Wine. This event is free, although spaces are limited to 100 people (and filling up quickly) so it is essential to RSVP.
