Brunswick oozes creativity and inspiration which is why The Brunswick Muse is the latest community project that aims to incorporate all sectors of our community by showcasing people’s talents in a welcoming environment.
The space will be used to showcase local performances, exhibit works of art in market stalls and allow children to create at Sketch City art workshops, hopefully we can gradually incorporate more elements of food and cultural performances which demonstrate our diverse and evolving community.
This Sunday will be the first market located on the corner of Florence and Breese streets in Brunswick (Brunswick Market car park, near Edinburgh Castle). With performances by The Getdown Syndrome, Rabble Rouzer, Miss Polly Ester and Dj Fa from 12, this should be one dandy Sunday afternoon, so tell your friends and come on down!
We hope to generate this into a regular monthly event, and encourage anyone who might be interested to get involved. We will be looking for performers, stall holders, food stalls, sponsorship, ideas and any other good stuff for future markets. To get involved please email Dilja@wemakestuffgood.com
Hope to see you Sunday!.x.
