Slapstick comedy is about someone copping a pie in the face so that the audience can have a good ol’ chortle at their expense. Slapstick Jam is going to be two merry hours of paste ups, stickers, and stencils upon the walls of At Large Gallery in Northcote this Saturday 20 March. After the matinee of creative madness there will later be an exhibition so we can revel in the look of the wall after its copped hundreds of images in its face. Everyone is invited to slap the wall with their imaginations…
This is a profit free event, intended as a culture jam for all interested so come down and support the growing wheat-paste, sticker, stencil revolution. No throw ups or big spray pieces as At Large Gallery is a small space and does not have proper ventilation to allow for this, also we want to focus on other elements of street art for this particular show.
Basic materials like glue and brushes will be provided but pre-prep anything that can’t be done on the spot. You’ll also need to BYO tools, although there will be some wheat paste provided.
