For those creative types in need of a little direction or global inspiration now’s the time to scrape up ya pennies and grab yourself a ticket to Drawing Out: A conference being presented by RMIT University. The day will focus on the wonderful world of drawing, thinking, designing, and communicating…

There will be experts serving up their inside knowledge for all to be inspired, some being flown in from as far as London and Vienna.  So if your a budding typographer, prolific scribbler, designer, multimedia nerd, architect or just entering the universe  of fine art, this is a session not to be missed!

Who: Lots of Professors specialising in their creative areas. Drawing Out conference is a collaboration between RMIT University and the University of the Arts London.

What: ‘A 3 day conference dealing with the theories and the practices of drawing through a series of papers, panels and exhibitions.  It will engage all who are involved in the creation, adoption and adaptation of drawing in its myriad forms and it will enchant those who are intrigued by the art of creation as expressed through drawing. ‘ – RMIT University

  1. Thanks for posting this. It looks like it WOULD have been awesome. I think RMIT needs to work on their promotion of such happenings. I’m always on the look out, surfing the melbourne art sites, and yet I seem to always find out about these things months after they’ve finished. Thanks anyway WMSG, I’ll make sure I check here more regularly, you seem to be adequately in the know!!
