Graffiti artist Simz has done it again by bringing us his second solo exhibition!

This time he puts his focus on the super futuristic sci-fi world we all are living in but can’t quite seem to understand? I mean, I can’t be the only one out there having problems understanding net-banking or why I have to scan my own groceries at the supie!? Who, where, and what happened!? When did The Jetsons invade us and WHO brought in all the stuff from Lost in Space? I don’t know when this happened! Why didn’t they teach us how to approach the future in school!?… I know I always said that ‘yes, I learn alot when I watch space movies’ and ‘yes, I would be a better future copper than Arnold’, but the truth is, I lied! I totally suck at being a future cop. I’m not really a cop and I definitely suck at being part of a futuristic society.

Come and have a look a Simz’s art and laugh at the future we live in. Maybe one day we’ll laugh with it.

Who: Simz
What: Mecha Graffical, his 2nd solo exhibition
Where: At Large Gallery, 208 High St, Northcote
When: Opening night is Friday 23 April, 6pm–9pm.  Runs until Friday 7 May
