Last month, Underground Cinema held a sold out premiere screening of international comedy, Bunny and the Bull; this time they’re serving up a AAA pass experience to one of Melbourne’s hottest gigs, in a secret location of course!
Melbourne is famous for its live music scene, and for nurturing home-grown talent such as The Living End, Jet and Midnight Juggernauts. So Squirrel Productions decided it was about time to hold a music inspired screening.
If you’ve always wanted to get backstage at a gig, to hang out in the green room with rock royalty and see what really goes on, behind the haze of cigarette smoke, then this screening is for you. All of UGC’s 2010 screenings have sold out in advance, so hop to it and become part of the entourage quick.
What: Backstage/Indie Rock/ Rock star Documentary
When: Saturday 5 June 2010. 8pm
Where: To be revealed 3 days beforethe show
Damage: $25
Tickets: http://www.moshtix.com.au/event.aspx?id=37181
Reviews:This isn’t your average film screening; it’s a midyear party, complete with groupies, uptight music execs and awesome live acts. This event isn’t for the faint hearted, as in true Underground Cinema style, this event will completely transport guests to “a fully immersive world inspired by the film”, So either go hard or go home.
“Underground Cinema combines the best of what Melbourne has to offer – food and drink, performance, live music and cinema – and creates a thoroughly engaging, endearing and entertaining night out.” [The Age, M May 2010]
