The Go Font Your Self exhibitions have been running around galleries in Australia for a few years now. Each year they showcase local and international artists who have a mad fetish for type. If you are one of these people don’t expect ground breaking new type and fonts. Their exhibitions seem to be about checking out what amazing artist can do what with type, words and geometric styles.

You will find this exhibition at the No Vacancy Gallery where strangly enough, you can usually find rad stuff. We recomend to jump on down have a beer, talk to other like minded font lovers whilst checking out what other artists think about typoography.

“Typography is at the centre of our everyday lived experience. It gives us a voice to express ideas, tell stories or articulate meaning. Proudly presented by Kirin© GO FONT UR SELF* is back for another round with Chapter 5 arriving on Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane shores in July and August 2010. The touring exhibition, which is a calendar event in the wonderful world of type, brings you 13 artworks from the world’s most critically acclaimed typographers, illustrators and graffiti writers.” - Go Font Your Self
