As part of the Berlin Film Festival Berlinale, a private showing of Exit Through The Gift Shop was screened last night at Potsdamer Platz. As you may have heard, the film is presented by the infamous and un-recognisable Banksy. I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Berlin premiere and besides falling over on the red carpet, I had an otherwise safe experience.

Come along to the We Make Stuff Good Gallery in Berlin to celebrate the last month of Winter. On the 5th of February at 19:00 Uhr the gallery will open to the public for the Winter Warriors exhibition and indoor market.
We’ve taken creative types from the Berlin markets and moved them into the warm surrounds of our gallery. We’ll also be introducing a bunch of fresh international artists that are now residing in Berlin. Thanks for your support!

Maybe you’ve been putting off your Christmas shopping or, if you’re anything like me, you’ve been putting off realizing it’s that time of year at all. I despise shopping during the other seasons anyhow, so you can imagine what I feel like in an overcrowded, slush-floored department store blasting Wham! on repeat. Thankfully, Berlin is full of creative artists and crafters willing to make the effort of relieving me of my fear and setting up neat little spots all over the city to display their handmade, original goodies. The girls from Videokills are particularly dear to us because, as they just told us, it’s a similar enterprise as We Make Stuff Good: three girls met in Berlin this year, had a good idea and decided to spread it around the globe!

Anyone who survived the last Berlin winters will remember the .HBC as a beacon of light in the otherwise gray, rainy (and strangely empty, considering it is basically the most central place in Berlin) Alexanderplatz area. Located in the former Hungarian Cultural Center, the space offers almost 2000 square meters for all sorts of shenanigans: installations, art shows, performance pieces and, of course, parties.
