[Berlin] Painting the WMSG gallery wall

other

Berlin’s We Make Stuff Good Gallery is opening it’s doors for the first WMSG solo show. We will be showcasing works from six members of Sam Crew, a Berlin based collective consisting of both traditional writers and a variety of character driven street artists. The exhibition space was once a small cafe that stood at the entrance of a swimming complex consisting of two large swimming pools. The boys from Sam Crew and Peach Beach offered up their time and materials on Saturday to transform the sad and tagged wall conjoining the gallery space.

[Berlin] Pictoplasma #3: Character Walk

pictoplasma

If you’re anything like me then you’re definitely broke and illegally residing in Berlin. Therefore, you need something else to do besides recycling bottles to flog off on lucky strikes and Sternbergs (50 cents, can I get a holla?)

The Pictoplasma Walk is a free event where you become your own tour guide and art buff. From the 17th of March until the 22nd you can venture throughout Berlin and visit over 30 galleries and exhibition spaces.

Some of the artists that may cause you to pee your pants:
Flying Förtress / The London Police (DE/UK)
W+K TOKYO LAB (JP)
Stefano Pedrini (IT)
Group Exhibition (ARG)
and many many… sooo many more

[Berlin] Bringing The Tropics to Berlin

When: Now until 5th of Jan

Where: Various

Damage: € 6.00 - € 4.50 reduced

Time: Wednesday to Monday - 10am to 8pm

Berlin is a little grey (to put it nicely) at this time of the year. Some Germans like it, they revel in the extra layers of clothing, the glu wine and an excuse to engage in the infamous German snuggle, but I for one get a little anxious. As an Australian, the concept of a northern European winter is a tad ominous to say the least. I have found some temporary solutions, glu wine works a treat or maybe a ticket to Rio De Janeiro?
