[Events] Cardigan Comics Tango 9: Love and War launch

tango-collection-invite
Growing up in Australia in the early nineties I was the neighbourhood tomboy. I did everything I could to keep up the boys, this included finding the best and most limited edition comics I could get my hands on. I recently discovered Australia has a abundance of independant comic book publishers.

Tango has been published almost annually by Cardigan Comics since 1997. Since the third issue, each number has had a sub-theme: ‘Love in Melbourne’, ‘Love and Death’, ‘Love and the Senses’, ‘Love and Sex’, ‘Love and Sedition’ and ‘Love and Food’.

Tango is a showcase for a range of Australian comic books. Each issue of Tango presents comic strip stories by experienced and emerging Australian comic book creators. The Tango project aims to promote and develop the world of Australian comic books.

Who: Cardigan Comics Tango 9 Love and War
What: Tango 9: Love and War comic book launch
Where: Dante’s in Gertrude Street Fitzroy
When: Thursday 10 December @ 6.30pm
