Meet the crew

Location: Melbourne Australia
Origin: Australia
About me:
Currently working from the Blender studios on Franklin Street in the city, I make drawings and paintings etc. I moved over to Melbourne from Perth as soon as I finished high school to begin my life as an artist. I love art and any form of creativity, especially if it’s really well thought over and makes your mind flip out from looking at it or listening to it or however you may experience it. I like to go to art openings in Melbourne and some music gigs, but the art shows are what really floats my boat.

Name: Kass Hall
Title: practising artist, founder of made’n’found and general geek
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Origin: Australia - via Mum (I’m told)
Email: hello@madenfound.com
Websites: madenfound.com, kasshall.squarespace.com
About me:
When she grows up, Kass wants to be an astronaut.
Until then, she makes art, writes stuff, reads a lot, talks a lot and amuses her Twitter followers. She is especially amusing after vodka consumption. She recently succeeded in teaching her 15 month old nephew to commando roll.
Kass also runs an artist initiative called made’n’found which supports and promotes handmade art and craft in Australia. She loves all things handmade and travels around Australia to markets, meeting artists and offering assistance. The dream is to open a retail/education/community space in Melbourne based on handmade.
She likes sleeping and hanging out in New York, ironically the city that never sleeps.

Digital Planner and Copywriter
Location: Somewhere in cyberspace or on my bicycle.
Origins: Found behind the couch.
Email: caroline.jeppe@gmail.com
Site: treesarepeopletoo.com
About me:
Raised on a diet of broccoli and books, Caroline discovered her love of words the moment she was handed a fat, sticky red crayon she could write them down with. Since then she has worked to improve her writing across all mediums, from chalkboards to collaborative blogs, writing everything from poetry to journalism to exam curriculum.
Failing to establish herself as the next poet laureate, Caroline now works creating copy and content plans for websites and integrated online campaigns. She has written for publications such as B&T and Desktop Magazine, and was also an ongoing music reporter and reviewer for Inpress Magazine. More recently she has worked for clients such as Cadbury, Holden, Jetstar and fashion label Jay Jays. Her favourite task is writing for kids because it’s fun and they don’t care about spelling.
When not mashing the keyboard, Caroline can be found falling off her bicycle, lolling in parks, harassing bookshop employees or singing to her small garden. She’s failed to yet have a successful harvest of brocolli, but feels it surely can’t be far away.

About me: i believe the semi-colon should be treated with the utmost respect. ampersands get me hot. i judge you and judge you harshly when you get ‘you’re/your’ and ‘their/there/they’re’ wrong. i’m a lower-case activist and hope to phase out all capitalisation by 2070. bad spelling is ruining my life. my obsession with my language is starting to damage the general perception that i even have a life. i wish my surname was fox. if you know the difference between an em dash and an en dash then i think we should be besties. if you know this and your last name is fox, i think we should get married.
