About me:
Ruby was born in Adelaide, in a very leafy suburb. These leaves proved very useful in her upbringing, creating the oxygen that enabled her to breathe. This breathing has been continuing for 21 years now, largely subconsciously, as Ruby attends to more exciting matters. Her hobbies include dog-sitting, bargain-hunting, and wine-swilling. She also enjoys hyphenation, hyperbole and the occasional display of (gin-induced) histrionics. Currently completing a degree in media production she hopes to one day rule the world. Failing that, she’d settle for a cup of tea and a puppy to call her own.

Of all the contessas of Myrtleford Manor, the Lady did have the utmost misfortune of misplacing just one of her peppermint lace gloves behind the Chesterfield day lounge – the scene of the crime. Oh woe, what dratted affliction! With expedient haste, she was whisked from her perch atop the cast iron balcony and left captive in the bitter cold of reality, where she is currently incarcerated. Abandoned with little more than an Arts degree and a temporary replacement oven mitt, she seeks out vengeance on the nefarious villains that have renounced her.
